Rotisserie Type Chicken In A Crockpot

Whole chicken
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon black pepper
pinch of red pepper (can omit if too spicy)
1 teaspoon paprika

Foil balls (make several balls, about the size of golf balls from tin foil that will cover the bottom of the crock-pot) Place foil balls on bottom of crock-pot to prevent chicken from resting directly in crock-pot.  Put chicken on top.

Mix seasoning together.  Slit the skin of the breast and rub the seasoning directly onto breast.  Use the remainder of the seasoning for t he rest of the chicken.  Cook on high for 4 hours.
